THE GLOBAL DEBUT PROJECT:

HYBE LABELS JAPAN launched the Global Debut Project, with artists who will start in Japan and go on to perform on all over the world.The group originally 4 members - TAKI, EJ, Nicholas, and K -, ex-participants of the survival show "I-LAND". More members were added to the group through the audition process &AUDITION, broadcasted in Japan, and streamed worldwide in 2022.They were announced firstly on December 2020's NYEL, later releasing a video inviting participants to join the &AUDITION process. In November of 2021, the CEO Han Hyun Rok talked about the group on HYBE's Briefing with the Community. New pictures were released and an official account was opened.Kyungmin, also an ex-I-LANDER, was part of the pre-debut lineup, but left the group on June 1st, 2021.In November 03, 2021, HYBE revealed the &AUDITION - The Howling program to find new members to join K, EJ, Nicholas and TAKI. Close to the show's airing, they opened a new official account for the show.11 trainees were part of &AUDITION (not counting the original 4, who were confirmed to debut). During &AUDITION, it was revealed that either all 15 members moved on to the final round, or the debut would be canceled. They had to fill the '&RING' together to have a chance at debuting. The final line-up had 9 members: K, FUMA, NICHOLAS, EJ, YUMA, JO, HARUA, TAKI & MAKI, debuting as the group &TEAM.Know more about them next:
